Hi Ladies.. Hope You're all well. I'm in need of some assistance. 2 years ago I decided to try out Foundation By Mac, I had tried The Studio Fix Fluid and was Declared To Be NW43. I found that it matched my skin fairly well. However, I recently went back to Mac with the intention of Purchasing the Studio Tech Foundation, I assumed my shade would be the same as the fluid and so they applied it on but the artist thought it was darker and so she applied the NC44 instead and explained that it had more of a yellow undertone and it was a bit lighter than the Nw43. I did feel it was a bit lighter but I'm confused as to how I've moved from warm to cool and was her explanation valid? thank you in advance.

It could be that you were matched incorrectly either the first or second time. I'm not sure though, I've only used the studio fix fluid in nc15 and it was still too dark for me so I no longer purchase mac :(

That's how the foundation worked. I remember being nw in the studio tech and I'm a NC 40 in studio fix fluid.
