Hey!
I'm super pale... Like, I basically look like the undead. And for the first time I'd really like to get some color this summer. Problem? I don't tan... Ever... I could in the sun for hours and not tan! I only burn, and when I burn I don't even peel into a tan like most people do! So , if I ever accidentally get burnt I suffer for nothing!! Also, with a history of skin cancer in my family I really don't want to sit without sunscreen or in a tanning bed. Do you know of anyways I could get a safe like fake tan... I'm not even sure if there is such a thing but if there is I'd love to hear about it and consider trying it out! I'm just a little tired of look like the undead all summer amongst my super tan friends! Thanks in advance!

A self tanner would be best in your case. Just remember they don't last as long as a natural tan. So to keep it the way you want it to be you have to keep applying it when it lightens.

You can definitely check out your local tanning salons, do some research on the products and ingredients their spray/airbrush solutions have. just because it didn't work on one person doesn't mean it won't work for you. check out your local tanning salons on yelp, and read through some reviews as well. don't let the experience of someone ruin yours.

I work at a tanning salon and none of our spray/airbrush products contain the ingredient that potentially has the ability to give you an orange affect. infinity sun has great products, one is the "glow on the go" solution that you can use at home. it's a build able solution, just like some foundations.

Design skin also has an amazing self spray that has a 360 degree nozzle making it easy to reach those unreachable spots.

Oh and one last thing, tarte has a great self tanning lotion as well, I believe it's called "brazilliance skin rejuvenating maracuja face and body self tanner " you can sample it at sephora

Maybe with some good sun protecter with bronzing in it.. And use aftersun spray or vaseline spray! And a white skin can be very beautiful!
