My hair is reasonably long, but I love the look of healthy locks cascading down my back.

What would be some tips you guys can share with me to achieve this?
Thanks in advance xx

Do hair masques. Keep your hair healthy by not dying it or putting so much heat on it.
Protective hairstyles are a must! A loose braid is a life saver. (:
I like mane n tail shampoo because it adds a lot of volume for me n thickens it up. It honestly does wonders if you're growing your hair. Use a conditioner like suave coconut one. It's hydrating. Don't wash your hair everyday. Keep natural oils in your hair.
Good luck! Email me for any questions you have.

Definetly keep your hair healthy and stay away from heat as much as possible. Lush has a solid shampoo for about $11 that is supposed to help make your hair grow faster 😊

•no heat at all
•eat healthy (spices are good, vegetables, broccoli)
•condition the ends so they don't break
•braid your hair to prevent breakage
Let me know if this helps :)

The easiest way to make your hair grow is to keep it healthy. Don't mistake me, the rate at which your hair grows is determined by genetics, and nothing you can do will make your hair grow faster than it naturally would at its healthiest.

First, trim any split ends. If you don't, they will keep splitting up the shaft and ruin even more of your hair. That means that when you do finally cut your hair, you'll have to cut off even more of it to get rid of the splits

Second, invest in a sulfate and sodium chloride free shampoo and conditioner (I like the L'oreal EverStrong, as well as Pureology, because my hair is constantly died and Pureology is great for maintaining that. Occasionally, I use the Garnier Fructis Pure Clean Shampoo, which is neither sulfate free nor for dyed hair, but it makes my hair feel SO clean, and that's not the worst thing once in a while), and a hair mask or deep conditioner (I like Macadamia Deep Repair Masque and the L'oreal Power Moisture Mask). In the shower, wash your hair first thing, shampoo only the roots and condition from your ears down. After that, apply your mask, focusing on the ends of your hair. Finger comb until you don't feel any knots, and then put your hair in a bun. Leave it that way for the rest of your shower, washing it out should be the last thing you do. I wash my hair around 3 times a week (with dry hair I can get away with it) and do the hair mask every time. If you need to wash your hair more than that, reduce your hair mask usage to 3 times :) make sure you're finger combing your hair in the shower so that you don't have to brush it, because brushing it can break it off like heck.

Third, in terms of heat protectors, I like the Tressemme and It's a 10 Leave in Plus Keratin. However, I advise you to cut out heat styling as much as possible (It's not the worst thing as long as you take care of your hair, so if you can't I wouldn't worry).

That's my hair routine, my entire head is bleached and it is just as healthy as it was before I dyed it.

Also, as a side note, Mane n Tail is complete crap. I'm sure Kitty will be willing to explain better, but the short explanation is that it's not ph balanced for human hair and it contains a ton of wax which causes build up and makes your hair very dry and heavy. It weighs it down, it does not make it grow.

Thank you Hannah, I was just going to say that. Mane n tail will make your hair worse in the long run, weighed down, dry, and more prone to split ends. It's honestly probably the worst for hair.

No problem, Alyx :) I've heard Kitty's horror stories and I would feel terrible if I let that happen to someone else.

Use olive oil! Put as much as you think you'll need in the microwave for 10 seconds. Then massage it into your scalp. When your done massaging keep your head upside down for 4 minutes. (This part sound dumb but it makes a big difference) Then leave it in for 2 hours and wash it out! Make sure to deep condition after! Also don't do it 2 days in a row. Try doing it every 2 days for best results without drying out your hair! Your hair should grow about 1-3 inches every week.

I only did it once, and my hair grew 1/2 and inch by the next day.
