So today I bought some pure black soap and shea butter. I know that the butter is good for hair and skin. I also heard nice things about the soap if used for the face. I was planning to use it for body though because my face is sensitive :b
Have you guys tried these? And if you use them, how do YOU use them? Do you like them?(:
Thank you beauties <3(:

My black soap is in a bar and I use it on my face for acne. Shea butter is what I use on my skin and hair for moisture, my hair love love loves it as I've got high porosity hair that needs a lot of moisture and butters do the trick for me.

@Erin, do you let it sit in your hair? and do you put it all over?
I'm excited lol. I heard it was good for acne but am kinda scared since I have a sensitive face... even though I just washed my face with it anyway lol :b

@Rebecca, good I'm glad I bought it (:

I bought them from a lady at a local swap meat (yes the swap meat lol). She has a business here in Los Angeles but she also ships to places if anyone's interested (:

I've got a completely different hair type then you do so my advice may not work for you at all.

But honestly I rub it together in my hands so it warms up a bit, take a section of my hair, and rub it through. I then put an oil mix or oil of choice over it to seal the moisture in and move on to the next section.

@Rebecca - I know coastalscents.com sells the Shea butter (that's where I get mine) and black soap (but I get the Dudu Osan brand which can be found on Amazon).

@Erin, despite the difference in hair type I appreciate your advice and I'll most likely try out your routine (:

@Yasmine G. okay cool I never tried the dudu osan brand before and I will check that website out. I usually buy the raw black shea butter soap from amazon. it's so cheap. I bought a pound for $5.00 and it works so good.

@Yasmine G. okay I looked at the website they have some great prices. oh yeah and my face is very sensitive too. but the soap is very gentle. Sometimes my face feels dry after I use it but that's how it's supposed to be. my face doesn't dry up it just feels like that.
