So I did the big chop and was wondering how people feel about it. I've already had to tell a few people to "Get Yo Life". lol. Family members included. But just curious how other ladies view it.

No Janelle your right I didn't yet. I just wanted to get a ladies perspective on how the feel when someone they know cuts it all off and starts fresh first.

Why would you care how someone else feels when they cut off their hair? A bit Confused... Are you asking God for yourself, cause you want to cut your hair and you are worried how others will perceive you?

She just wants opinions, peoples thoughts

My thought: do what makes you happy. The only thought that really counts in the end is your own. I support your choice as long as it's what you want💜💋

I love it. Natural hair is sooooo beautiful! Obviously, the big chop is usually necessary when going natural as transitioning from a relaxed state can take forever. I love it! I've been considering it

I did mine three years ago before I started my locs. I don't regret it. Transitioning from relaxed to natural takes some time and you have to be extra careful to avoid breakage.

You told them right Ema. get to life!
y do ppl always have some crazy ish to say about somethin so simple. you cut it off. so what. its just hair.
I didn't personally do the bc when I grew my hair out. my bc was me cutting ky hair in half which left it at my shoulders. that was like 12yrs ago. I got a relaxer again now. do what you want. when folks I know do a bc, its looks so fresh and cute. I haven't seen anyone look crazy with that short do. rock it for awhile, its low maintenance as hell! :)

Do it!! You'll not regret it I did it 3 years ago and I did it again 2 month ago not as short as the first time more like medium shop lol. My hair are more healthy. natural hair is much better when you know how to take care of them and personally it made me research more about my body and my lifestyle and from that I'm feeling so comfortable in my body and it makes me really happy so I have no regret at all.

I cut off almost 16 inches last August for the Pantene Beautiful Lengths program. Don't regret it a bit and love the new do. As long as you like it that's what matters. :)

Last month I had 6 inches of my very curly hair chopped.I'm on heavy duty meds. I didn't this time as its soft and already I've noticed no split ends. its to shoulders wet and when I straight iron once a month. doing lots of high buns and liking the results.

I had my hair cutfrom shoulders to a pixie cut because the hairdresser left the bleach on tooooo long and it all split...it took ages to get used to...I wouldn't gothat short again but it was shall we say refreshing!!
