Well if you're struggling with skin problems then making your face looks flawless will include a lot more foundation then skin that has little to no break outs

My secret has been Urban Decay Naked Skin foundation and the Real Techniques miracle complexion sponge (or a beauty blender if you have one but the RT one is the same concept and just as good, if not better because of the price.) I love the UD foundation though because it has really nice coverage but the consistency isn't cakey and thick. It's very thin and looks natural. I apply it with the expert face brush from Real Techniques, then apply any concealer I might need. Usually if I'm not super spotty I don't need much concealer at all, the foundation usually covers so well I don't need it. But if I do need it, I apply some, and then use the sponge, damp, over my whole face. I just pat it over to blend and take down any areas that may have gotten a bit thick. Then I powder with a translucent powder (I use the loose one from Nyx) and then take the sponge over my face again to make sure I don't look powdery. I've found that especially helps it look very blended and it sets it in place very well at the same time :)
