I am looking for a good BB cream for days where I just want to cover up some imperfections but not go all out on my makeup and waste foundation. any recommendations to cover up redness.

I agree, the lumene bb is great, but runs dark, as Che said. I am PALE af with yellow to neutral undertones, and I can get away wearing the light shade if I use my cheap-o beauty blender dupe and set it with my usual powder. it does have fantastic coverage and is worth the extra work. sometimes I mix it with the slightest dab of hard candy glamoflauge concealer in light, which is a dead-on match for me, and the shade difference isn't noticeable. I just love the lumene one because it's the only bb cream at the drugstore, that I've found, that isn't pink. if you do have cool/pink tones, ponds luminous bb cream is perfection. just too pink for me:(

Because your fair skinned you're able to use Asian BB creams, which are better then US BB creams because they do more then act as a glorified sunblock. Étude House, skin79, and Missha have good ones and you can find them on Amazon or sasa.com.
If you want something domestic I recommend Dior whole heartedly. It's not supposed to have skin benefits but my skin is always glowing and looks better the morning after I use it.
For lower priced options Dr.Jart seemed ok when I tried it in store. But Garnier broke me out every time I used it and is the only product to do so. L'Oreal made me look like an ashy gray zombie even after sitting for 30 minutes.

The garnier bb cream broke me out too but then I used the bb cream by garnier for oily skin and it was heaven. try the oil free one!
