Hi there,
I've had this keloid in my ear for ages and have been going to get the doctor to get steroid injection but it doesn't seemed to make a difference. I feel really uncomfortable tying my hair up because I feel like everyone can see it. Had anyone come across anything remedies that will get rid of a keloid? I will try anything!!

I had a huge keloid on my ear after my tragus piercing. I went to the piercing shop and bought some H2Ocean spray. I sprayed it like 6 times a day for about a week and a half to two weeks and it's completely healed!

I had mine surgically removed ,but tee tree is said to help shrink them but that does depend on the size of it if it's already large and been there for a long time I think it's best to just have it removed it didn't hurt at all and you just get a few dissolving stitches.

I have read up about getting it removed before. But is there now a chance that it will grow back again?

I have had two removed about 15 years ago it never came back but I'm sure on some people it may if you don't take Care of it a keloid is a over production of scar tissue cause from a trauma to the skin so if you keep it from getting infected or irritated you have a better chance of keeping it away.

But if it's not that big try the topical options first.

In currently using a silicon gel prescribed from the doctor. But it isn't doing anything for me. I have heard that someone people use wart treatment? I don't know if this is wise though?

There's a 50% chance that it may grow back...and sometimes it grows even larger...if its small then I'd advise not to get it removed...even my frnd had it and after the surgery it grew back.

Oh mannnnn lmao nose piercing memories. Break up an UNcoated aspirin and crush it up I to a powder. Mix said powder with the tiiiniest bit of water until it becomes a paste. Put it on top of the keloid, let it dry, and leave it on overnight. In 2-3 days it should be completely gone. :)

Plastic surgeon can take it off in office... NOT dermatology!! Easy thing to have done.
