I was thinking about getting a white semi colon with a light black shadow behind it on my wrist/forearm but I've heard from some people that it could fade and/or turn yellow?? I dunno. I also thought about getting a white Pieces constellation on my ankle.

It depends on your skin, any tattoo does. You can't change your mind if it doesn't work out with some people. Talk to a tattoo artist, they will know more than people with tattoos.
