Hey ladies!
I have been stressed lately and started to break out on my face. I don't have long term acne or anything like that, but I was looking for a DIY face mask for my skin.
Thank you! ☺️

I'd just go to your local Walmart or pharmacy/grocery store that has some beauty products and buy one of the Freeman masks. They come in both big tubes for like $3 and in little pouches so you can try them first for even less. My favorite is the dead sea mineral anti-stress mask. It's great at unclogging pores, making your skin feel fresh and it isn't irritating. DIYing skincare can turn disastrous if you don't test things first. I always feel it's safer to get something pre-made because while it can still break you out the chances are usually much slimmer.

I meant to say irritate your skin or cause an allergic reaction, not breakout lol.

Lemons are too acidic so just make sure to avoid that ingredient. you are trying to balance your skin after all not completely alter it's ph level. yogurt, honey and a little cinnamon is a nice mask. you can add some oatmeal too if you want to calm your skin.

I use a clay mask on my breakouts and it really helps. Clay masks do draw out the bacteria in our skin afterall. try not to touch them either and if they are really bad try an ice cube on them to reduce any redness then apply hydrocortisone cream before bed. that almost gets rid of them overnight!

DIY masks make me so nervous! But that's because my face is really really sensitive. If one of them says to use lemon dilute it as much as possible or don't even use it! I used lemon once even diluted and my skin got red and irritated and broke out because the lemon was so drying.
