Primer Problem! Help!

Hey ladies,

I use vitamin c skin boost from the body shop as a primer. And I wait like 4 mins for it to absorb and then when I put on my makeup, my powder is dotty and my bronzer looks muddy and not smooth? Why is that??

And also, I am in need of suggestions of primers that let my make up stay and are hydrating and cover my nasty blackheads on my nose! Thanks!

The vitamin C skin boost is a face spray mist, meant to be hydrating but its not a primer.

Smashbox has a great hydrating primer, I love Benefit Porefessional as well.
