Unfortunately, body hair is a part of life. The best option would be to get it professionally lasered, which takes about 6 sessions and then you're pretty much set. There's no real DIY.

Aside from that, when I shave I use the Aveeno shave cream, as the oat extracts in it are supposed to slow hair regrowth. It's been working for me; I can get away without shaving my legs for a couple weeks, if necessary. It also doesn't have a smell, which I like (I can't stand candy-smelling shaving creams), and a bottle of it lasts forever.

Other than what Hannah said, you could try waxing. It lasts about a month, it works great. You can either get it done by a professional or get the cold wax strips to use at home, like the Veet ones. The only thing is that sometimes they don't remove everything, so I like to go over that with an epilator (braun silk epil is what I use). Result:smooth legs and low maintenance, no flaking of the skin. (I get SUPER DRY legs when I shave). Hope this could help!
Btw, how old are you?

That's why I asked how old you are, sugar waxing can be dangerous if you're young. just look for sugar waxing or sugaring on youtube :)

There's the Tria laser hair remover it's about $450 but I've heard that it does work good from a few friends of mine. I personally haven't used it but they said that after awhile the hair doesn't grow back

I heard about the Tria too, I'm so down to use it... but obviously the price. From what I heard, it hurts. Also, it's for personal use, there's a special code you have to use to unlock it... AND the machine won't let you share it with your friends. BOO!

For $450 for DIY... I think it's a great idea if you have the money and want to get rid of those facial hairs, possibly arm and leg hairs as well.
