I haven't subscribed to birchbox but from the reviews I've seen ipsy looks better. I'm never dissapointed with my ipsy bags. I have gotten many full sized products.

I have been on the Ipsy wait list for 3 months now and still have not received a box yet, grrr. I decided to try Birchbox instead and received my first box from them within like 9 or 10 days of signing up. I am happy with my first box, it was valued around $40 total and I signed up when they were running a sign up sale and paid only $5. I'm going to keep the BB going at least until I get off Ipsy waitlist, if that ever happens...
