Try to find products that are oil free, also to control you oil throughout the day you can find a mattifying day cream or a light matte powder to control shine!

So which products do you use for your face to treat acne/oily skin..

I wash my face at night with soap and then a clean and clear cleaner. which gets rid of all the dirt and makeup. I then use clean and clear deep cleaning which gets done into your pores. I clean my eyes with just a cheap eye cleaner and then once that it all dry I use the thing that was prescribed by the doctor to treat my acne... I hope this helped.

I have a similar skin type and I use first aid red clay cleanser, lush tea tree toner, Algenist multi perfecting moisturizer.
I also like most of the products from Murads Acne line. You can get a decent size sample of each product in a kit that's sold at Ulta or Sephora.

Thank you Leah and Amanda.. I'll definitely buy the products you mentioned.. right now I'm using homemade scrub ( sugar with lemonjuice and honey and coconut oil). it really is very helpfull and make your skin feel so soft..

For masks I would definitely recommend First Aid Red clay peek of mask or Lush mask of magnaminty. Queen Helene Mint Julep mask is similar to the Lush one but a fraction of the price. Give them a try if you can and let me know if you they help!

Neutrogena oil free moisturiser is great for oily skin because it moisturises but doesn't leave skin greasy, I got it recently and seriously love it, also try to use an oil free foundation, collection does one and I've heard maybelline dream matte mousse is a good foundation for oily skin too :-)

The body shop products are good..I use the the tea tree skin clearing facial wash and tea tree skin clearing lotion..I also use garnier pure active..it is a pore unclogging wash and it has salicylic acid.

I got a cheaper version of the clairsonic brush, it's the conair brand and it's helped so much. I was actually able to stop using the topicals and face wash the dermatologist prescribed. Now I just use ceravé cleanser and Clinique oil free moisturizer. I use either bare minerals or revlon colorstay foundation with the Kat Von D makeup setting spray.
