Ok so I'm looking to buy some make up brushes and I've read great reviews on the real techniques collection. I want a good foundation brush that gives a flawless look, but I'm torn between the Expert Face Brush and the Buffing Brush. Do any of you guys own any or both of these brushes? If so which one would you recommend? I'm sooo confused! 😩

I own the expert face brush, I love it!

Also, I use liquid foundation, I think the buffing brush is specifically for powder/mineral?

I much prefer the buffing brush. I've never used it for powders (I believe it's marketed for liquid products). While the density of the expert face brush is nice it definitely soaks more product up than a brush should.
I believe the buffing brush comes in a set which will also allow you to try other brushes from that line that you may love.

Yes the buffing brush comes in a set and is part of the core collection, it can't be purchased separately whereas the expert face brush is sold separately. Thanks for your input ladies! :)

If you are looking for a great foundation brush, I think you should order the sigma f80 that thing is amazing

I have both but I don't use it for foundation. I use f80 from Sigma and the rest. Or I use Beautyblender.

Real Techniques is so confusing. I thought I bought a core set but the buffing brush wasn't in it. Until now, I thought the expert face brush WAS the buffing brush. Ugh.

We don't have sigma here in the UK :( aw jocelyn that's a shame! I think both the brushes are quite similar.
