I've tried and tried and I don't know why every foundation I buy tends to oxidize on me. Does every foundation do this? And why does do this? I'm starting to think I have bad luck finding my right shade because of this.

Yep.. Do you cleanse, tone, moisturizer your skin twice a day? Do you have really oily skin?

I cleanse and moisturize. I don't really tone. And yes I have oily skin.

You might want to try one and a foundation primer, (if you don't already use one, it can create a barrier) might possible help. I never really have a oxidation problem with my foundation so I can't really recommend a foundation for you but maybe you can find a foundation that doesn't contain metal oxides like titanium dioxide, zinc, etc (I'm not sure one even exists). I believe this is the ingredient that can create the chemical reaction. (Maybe check your moisturizer to see if it contains metal oxides as well.) I hope this might help you a little bit :)

It's expensive but try a Chanel foundation like the Perfection Lumiere Velvet. It's a semi matte formula that is water based and it gives such a natural flawless finish!
