I was wondering if anyone has tried careprost to grow your eyelashes and whether it was worth the side effects.

I have glaucoma so I use lumigan which is the same as Latisse, the only difference between how I use the drops or others who have glaucoma use the eye drops is we don't use an eyelash comb and we don't apply them to our lashes we apply them to our eyes. That is how doctors and researchers found out about the significant eyelash growth as well as the other side effects. For me it does cause eyelash growth. However it does not for everyone. Also while it may help you to grow long eyelashes it may also cause you to have extremely red eyes, there was an eye drop similar to lumigan that I was on called travatan that made my eye look blood shot red!! I have almost black eyes so I don't have to worry about pigmentation change. So my advice to you is to think about all of the side effects and if they were to happen to you will you think they are worth it to have long eyelashes? I would also like to add Bimatoprost or Lumigan/Latisse dies sting and/or burn your eyes. I would also like to add once you stop using the medication and your eyelashes will go back to the way they were ( once the eyelashes fall out and and the regeowrh starts per normal lashes). If it were me I probably wouldn't actually no I would not take a medication if I didn't have to. Even if it gave me long eyelashes, I'm lucky and I have pretty long thick lashes. However if I didn't is either wear falsies or get extensions! I'm different though I take so much meds on a daily basis I take more meds than my 80 year old grandmother! LoL but Janet if you really want to try Latisse talk to some people who have used it, do a lot of research on it and talk to a doctor and if you have any questions for me I am more than happy to answer!
