What dyes are you using? That could be the problem. Or it's over processing on your hair. Your hair might take color faster than what the directions on the box say.

Unfortunately I, the queen of DIY, had to go to a stylist because of that problem. The thing is, dark dyes put your hair in color lock. I suggest you think about doing a lighter brown or red next, because you may have to bleach, and that means sad, brassy hair.

Only way possible is to use a color remover (I used l'oreal colorzap (pro versions of color oops) to remove red and purple and brown) and bleaching.
