Almond oil works wonders. It adds shine, adds nutrients, and can thicken hair. It's like $9-$12. Or if you have a poor diet, that can greatly impact the state of your hair. But I say try almond oil first. After you shower, work it through your roots all the way to the tips. Leave it in your hair for about a day and then wash it out. I do it like 2-3 times a week and my hair already seems a lot better than before.

Good vitamin supplements such as, Silica and Biotin or Horsetail (natural silica) these will grow your hair because I know I take them religiously. Drink a lot of water, shampoo such as Mane n Tail work also really well providing they are used in long term, each of these will not only grow out your hair but it will be thicker with more volume and strength.

If you have to use heat on your hair only use it 2 times a week, but if you can don't use it at all :)
