What's nicest in color, as in very deep and also is VERY fade proof? I've used Garnier in the past and it litterally left my hair in a few days maybe a week.

What color was your hair before you colored it? May need to fill it.

My hair was my natural color, a medium brown

I used the black (10) and natural blue black (12) from Revlon Colorsilk and it never ever faded once. It lasted forever, I never had to touch up the overall color when I was doing my roots. It was weird going red after that and having to consider fading since I hadn't had any fading from my black hair before that! Revlon Colorsilk is like the cheapest hair dye you can buy, but it really lasted so I was kind of surprised!

If your going for a natural looking black try one with a tiny bit of brown(brown undertones) in it. I don't think blue black looks natural on anyone.

Blue black is sooo soooo beautiful and shiny!
But yeah my best friend is a natural blonde and dyes her hair "dark brown" but it looks like black, I don't think it looks natural on her, but it probably would on some others

I want a blue black mostly, I love the sheen to it. Natalie, did the Revlon Blue Black have obvious blue tones and sheen? That's exactly what I want.

unfortunately, I didn't find it noticeably blue black, it just kinda looked the same as black =/

Hmm, well that sucks! I think I will pick it up tonight though, for the staying power. Does anyone think putting some blue dye over it would give a nice sheen, or would just be a waste of dye?

I was always considering that, but I never tried, sorry =( I was also thinking of doing like tiny highlights and dying them blue, but I was just too lazy and that never got done either
