I'm starting to get blackheads on my nose and I've tried everything. (Scrubbing my face really hard with face wash, pore strips, etc.) I STILL have blackheads. How to I get rid of them? 😣

Well for one don't scrub your face really hard. You could be drying out your face that way which in turn causes more dirt and oils to build up which could be getting into your pores causing the black heads. Try exfoliating your face with a black head scrub. If you want a DIY baking soda and water make a good paste however I'd recommend a patch test because you don't know how your skin will react with certain home products.

What products are you using to treat your skin?
As for physical exfoliation, that will only do as much as to remove dead skin cells from the most superficial layer of the skin.
A Chemical Exfoliant ( I know it sounds scary but I promise it's more gentle than a Physical exfoliant ) can go as deep down into the pores past the most superficial layer of the skin.

I have the same problem lately but I've been using a hydrating and cleansing clay mask. I use it about every two or three days and I've noticed a gradual change in my blackheads and the size of my pores. I also use a st. Ives apricot scrub every time I shower or wash my face for the day-whichever comes first. Don't forget to moisturize though! because my skin dries out to and I agree with kitty that if you do too much it can actually make it worse.

And I also use aveeno positively radiant for moisturizer which I love because it is a good base under makeup for the day and it also has SPF :)
