For me, I start at the arch and lightly color in the sparse spots of my eyebrows. Then I gradually move towards the front but I never color in the tips of my eyebrows because I'm trying to avoid a harsh look. When everything looks good, brush it with a spoolie and apply a coat of eyebrow gel to set it. The eyebrow pencil I use is instant brow pencil by benefit. Hope this helped :)

I bought a combined eyebrow filler which has a coloured gel and the same colour pencil on the end. The gel really is only handy on people with a decent amount of hair on their eyebrows which I reckon you could pull off :)

I use brown eyeshadow and an angled brush. I make an outline on the top and bottom of my brow and then shade the middle :) I just do little flicks till I feel like they're perfect.
