What I've noticed with myself. If I line my bottom eye, they look small.
However if I use a dark brown on the bottom and black on the top, my eyes doesn't look as small.

They look fabulous! I was told lining the whole eye being a "no-no" had more to do with how close your eyes were set together. Yours aren't set close, and don't seem small to me.
