What Do You Mean It Looks Weird? I Usually Use My Face Wash While I'm In The Shower. Then Moisturize After I'm Out & Dry.

The reason your face feels dry & tight after you shower is because you may not be using the proper face wash.
Your face wash is drying out your skin, something you want to avoid.
I recommend looking into a hydrating face wash, especially if you have dry skin as you do not want to dry it out.

Agreed with Jacqlyn, hot water makes skin very very dry. Maybe you should wash your face with cold water out of the shower.

A great Hydrating drugstore face wash would be CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser.
Another option would be Cetaphil which is suited for more oily skin types.
Yes to Carrots is also great for dry skin, along with Neutrogena Naturals and Neutrogena's Gentle Cleanser.
For Acne prone skin I recommend Paula's Choice CLEAR Pore Normalizing Cleanser. I personally use this cleanser and it does a great job of removing make up, as well as keeping helping with acne without drying out the skin. ( PC does have other skin care cleansers for dry skin that are hydrating. )

It might be what your using to wash yourself? Maybe try a face mask which is for dry skin. If your skin feels horribly dry before you go to bed apply a layer of Vaseline to the effected areas then when you wake up in the morning remove it by doing your normal morning wash routine.

If you take showers that are too warm, that can also dry out your skin.

I don't think you should coconut oil on your skin. it has sealants in it which can clog your face and break you out even more.
