I am a strong supporter of cruelty against animals. From past 2 years I have tried my best to stay away from animal tested products ( I have sacrificed so many tempting products coz of this)..
Today I found this super amazing colorburst matte lip balm by Revlon in striking. I tried it and just fell in love with it.. They lady in the store told my friend that this particular product is not tested on animals...But as far as I know Revlon tests its products on animals.. Can anyone resolve this for me.. Its a big no for me if it is tested on animals but if its not tested then I will b happiest person on earth and will rush to buy it..

I went thru my husbands press releases and earlier in the year Revlon decided that they are pulling out of China due to the expense of doing business there. As far as animal testing goes...each country in which a product is sold has to go thru regulatory testing via that takes place within their confines and not that of lets say Revlon of any cosmetics/skincare that is sold in that country. So while Revlon states that they do not personally indulge in testing the country in which they are sold may conduct their own independent testing and throw the bill at the manufacture. Its a very complex process. I don't know if that is of any help...
Look on the packaging and see where the item was manufactured. As some countries do not require cosmetics to be tested on animals or at least offer alternative testing methods.
