I'm thinking about dying my hair?

I'm not exactly sure what I want to do with my hair. I was thinking lowlights... But have any suggestions? (No greens, blues, or lilacs because it's against dress-code at my school!)

I had dark black hair and I wanted to go lighter what I got was all over foils and the hairdresser left very little hair out then out a light brown toner through very happy with the result
