Heads and shoulders made my hair fall out! I hate that stuff. it burns my scalp, its horrible. I just started using suave naturals daily clarifing shampoo and it's helping me with dandruff but its purpose isnt for dandruff and flakes. its seriously amazing, I'm also been using suave naturals tropical coconut conditioner and its AMAZING. its helping with dandruff as well. both these products can be found at walmart for $1.50.
another thing you could do is get olive oil and massage it on your scalp and leave it on for an hour and then wash off. it helps moisturize your scalp, because dandruff is the result of a dry scalp.

Try a paraben-free, silicone-free, Sodium Laureth Sulfate-free deep conditioning mask, and massage it into your roots. It helped me a lot, because I recently permed my hair and my scalp dried out a bit.
