Coconut oil is a great, easy, and an affordable way to take off your makeup, take care of your skin, and help keep your hair healthy and strong. Coconut oil is a natural oil and is filled with vitamins and minerals to help your body (as well as cook) it's also not filled with any harsh chemicals or anything like that so it won't damage your skin (like some makeup removers do)
All you do to take off your makeup is rub a little bit of it on your finger and apply it to your face and take it of with a damp cloth. It comes off instantly!! Leave it on your face for 3-5 minutes and your skin is instantly smoother and healthier, but agin take it off with a damp cloth.
For your hair take 4 tablespoons ( more if needed) and put it into a pot to heat it up. After it's heated, pour the coconut oil into a bowl. Apply it evenly through out your hair root to tip. Massage your scale for 5 minutes, than rap your hair up in a towel and wait 30 minutes. When this is all done hop in ir shower and rinse it out then clean your hair with whatever shampoo and conditioner you have.

I agree with Jacqlyn about not using the microwave. Also if you tend to have oily hair avoid putting any on scalp or near roots and just apply it from the nape of neck down to tips.
Great tips, I love coconut oil! I use it on my chapped lips as well as on other dry skin on the body and it works like a charm.

Heating the oil removes beneficial properties. You should use Organic, Cold Pressed, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil. If it solidified, it warms in the palms or for larger amounts can be placed in a warm sink until it is supple.
