I recently did a major purge of my collection and after posting pics of it earlier today not only did I learn that my MUA daughter has done further shopping in my stash (missing a few eye quads, blushes and lippies) after I gave her a bunch of goodies that I purged I now feel NAKED. Now I want to go out and shop to fill the void. Do any of you beauties feel that way after a purge or just if you pull out all the goods to take stock of your inventory?

@Kitty, I'm not totally impressed with them. they tend to cake up after awhile and make me look like I have some mouth disease. It also feels slightly gritty. the color (Violet) is beautiful though and I do love the application.
@Shelley we always want what we don't have, and we get it and feel fulfilled for like 10 min after then want more. at least (in this situation at least) its only make up! as long as its not breaking the bank I see no harm in it ;-)

Shelley, I totally understand. I purged, I felt kind of good about it. And then I went on and spend my ass off buying new goodies, and now I'm broke.

You do the purge and get rid of the stuff you don't LOVE or really use or is crap. And then it doesn't look like it's all THAT much, right? Especially when there's so much new stuff coming out that we NEED. I was in line at Sephora and glanced over and saw the Bite display and it all came back to me that I had gotten a super cute violet lip crayon from them. I've been so focused on my kit that my personal makeup situation has taken a back seat. I was warned this could happen but I didn't believe it!
