So I had this horrible pimple but it's almost healed now, but I'm scared it will leave a scar! Any remedies or products? And I'm planning to try merderma recommended by the amazing traci! But if you tried it does it work for you? Thanks!!

Therefore I never had pimple problems, I do not know which product is good, better ask your doctor.

I use a clarisonic with a gentle cleanser every night before bed, exfoliate 2-3 times a week, and use a vitamin c serum. My scars are almost 100% gone now. :)

Using merderma on your face can actually make it super sensitive to the sun, which is why my dermatologist told me not to use it on my face; body only. I'm no expert though (: I would recommend using sunscreen though, because the sun will cause hyperpigmentation which will make the scars even more noticeable. Hope this helps!

Jamie mederma has spf 30 in it so it will not make you sun sensitive besides the fact that you do not use it on your whole face its one tiny spot she needs to heal, I don't know anyone who would put it on like a moisturizer,to prevent the scar from forming you use mederma and then to get rid of the hyperpigmentation leftover you will use Vitamin C and spf ,30 daily, and im only recommending the mederma because her pimple got infected so the scar may be deeper on regular pimples just exfoliating and a vitamin C serum and spf will do

Try La Mieux Vita-C Clear Skin Pads...

Also, Michael Todd Organics has a great antioxidant toner that helps clarify and brighten skin naturally...

Also include more vitamin c, lycopene & beta carotene in your diet (which helps improve overall skin tone naturally from the inside out.)
And make sure to wear sunscreen everyday underneath your makeup. (Sun exposure and damage can worsen and darken scars, and damage overall skin tone.)

Also, to make a blemish dry up faster, try just a dab of Proactiv's Refining Mask (right on the head/center of the pimple). Do not pick at it or rub it. (<This can increase your risk of scarring.)
Gently cleanse area 2-3x a day (with an organic, alcohol-free cleanser), and tone with either of the above recommended products. Then use a tiny dab of the Proactiv mask before bed.
