I have combo/oily skin and the Tarte Amazonian clay 24hr foundation holds us really well for me, even in the hot summer months. It's a thicker formula so I prefer a do sponge to apply it. I'm loving the Real Techniques sponge at the moment, I think it's as good as the Beauty Blender and 1/4 of the price!

For drugstore revlon colour stay, full coverage and helps to keep skin matte all day, a really amazing foundation.

Diego dalla Palma lightening fluid foundation is a fluid base which starts with a lightweight creamy texture and sets to an attractive glow finish without looking sparkling or greasy. Coverage is light to medium. I love how it manages to blur away my imperfections while looking natural also when I build it up on critical areas. The shade 21, a slightly warm ivory, is the lightest shade and it is ever so slightly darker than my winter skin tone but it looks perfect for the sunny season. Moreover the colour stays true all day without oxidizing. On me this foundation lasts for about 8 hours. For me this is the first ever foundation that does not pool in my pores or creases at all, not even at the end of the day. It is fairly easy to apply with my fingers but because it tends to set quite quickly I pat and blend a small amount at a time to the different areas of my face. It is a pity though that this foundation does not come in a wider range of shades, like for example a porcelain shade for very pale ladies or a very dark shade.

My absolute favorite is the Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation. It's seriously amazing 💜 my HG foundation. I wore a think layer to the pool the other day did not melt at all! To apply, I put it on my hand then dip the sponge in the product and tap it on my face. I haven't tried to use a brush with this foundation bc I'm happy with the results I get with my sponge. If you are looking for a drugstore foundation Revlon Colorstay is a good option. They have two formulas, one for oily/combination skin and one for dry skin. I applied that one with both a sponge and a brush but preferred how it looked with a sponge. I also love the whipped version of the Revlon Colorstay but you need to apply that with your fingers bc of the consistency. It seems pretty thick but once you put it on it melts into your skin. I have also tried the Tarte Amazonian clay 24hr foundation it was more medium coverage though and found it drying, even though I usually have oily skin. However, everyone is different so the Tarte foundation may work for you!

Revlon Color Stay Whipped! Love it. I use a Sigma F80 to apply. Also, for matching go to Sephora and do their Color ID. Then use the Temptalia Foundation Matrix - it will suggest color matches based on a shade of foundation you know matches from a certain brand.
