I've noticed that when I wash my face I still have some makeup on my face. How do I get rid of it? I just use my cleanser and that's about it.

I use start of by removing as much makeup off with makeup removing wipes then I cleanse and wash my face to make sure I got all my makeup off. If there is still left over eye makeup I use eye makeup remover or a cheaper alternative is olive oil.

For eye makeup, I would use a gentle makeup remover wipe. I hate when there is leftover mascara and liner on my eyes even when I shower.

I always follow up with an aloe-based toner on a cottonball. I love that I can see how clean it gets my skin and it helps maintain my natural, healthy pH level.

(For my eyes, I use a warm cottonball after applying coconut oil.)

For my eyes I don't have a problem, but my face is the one with the residue. I don't have wipes and don't use toner because I've noticed it breaks me out.

Do you know if the toners you've tried were aloe based? It keeps the flesh from drying out the way alcohol based ones do...bringing on irritation and breakouts.

I use makeup remover wipes, then cleanse and use toner - and it gets it all - otherwise oil cleansing also works to get off all my makeup as well.

I always use 'simple' eye make up remover as it clearly removes anything including waterproof mascara and lip stain. Hope this helped :)

I take off my eye makeup with neutrogena's "oil free" eye makeup remover and then use a say yes to cucumber (or grapefruit) face wipe to remove any concealer/foundation/powder. I then finish with Garnier Clean+ Cleansing Oil for Dry Skin.

I use olive oil and a big cotton face pad to get it off. Leaving it on. Then apply my Cetaphil cleanser on top with my Clarisonic. Then rinse. Then go in and clean with just my Cetaphil

And then clean off the mascara with a clean q-tip, while my lashes are still wet

I have a wonderful product that easily removes even the most difficult make up! Check out my website!

I use The Body Shop's Camomile Cleansing Oil on a dry face to break up all my makeup. I really work this into my eye area because I use waterproof mascara You'll look like a raccoon for a second and then it just all washes off easily. It's nice for sensitive skin and doesn't irritate my eyes. Then I go in with Philosophy's Purity Made Simple cleanser either with the Clarisonic Mia 2 or just a simple konjac sponge. The Clarisonic isn't necessary but I use it when I want to give my pores a deeper cleaner. Next I swipe my face with some witch hazel toner on a cotton pad. There's usually no trace of makeup by this point, but sometimes if I've done a lazy job at the oil and cleanser this gets off the last bits.

I use makeup wipes (Pond's Luminous Clean for my face, Neutrogena for my eyes) and then follow up with a toner or astringent. I go back and forth between Sea Breeze astringent and just plain witch hazel for a toner. Astringents (especially Sea Breeze) are super harsh on your skin, but witch hazel isn't too bad, it is actually supposed to help reduce breakouts.
