How can I get lipstick to stay on without having to reapply every 10 minutes?

The only time I ever wear lipstick is for dance recitals it's Revlon and we all apply a generous amount then blot it off with some tissues. It seems to last all day for me.

The following are all long lasting for me:
MAC lip pencils
Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain Stick
Revlon Colorburst Matte Sticks
Loreal Infallible
Stila
Tarte
Revlon Color stay/Gloss
Kat Von D
Most of these are stains. I apply an even, thin layer..never rub them together and blot on my index finger..then leave my lips slightly parted for a few minutes as it dries. Spritz with setting spray..then apply (if there is one) the balm or gloss. For any lipstick or pencils, I lightly powder just around the edges after blotting on a clean finger. Sometimes, brush application gives better wear.

I've had great results from stila and lush for department store brand and I really like Revlon color stay products for drugstore.

Try a lip primer I like the one by too faced n you have to wait for your lipstick to dry before you apply any gloss that helps too.

You can try applying a thin layer of translucent powder (with a brush) holding a tissue on your lips after you apply your lipstick. It will turn it into a matte lipstick(if its shiny etc.) and make it last all day.And if you don't want to use a brush and a tissue you can apply the powder directly on the lips I guess it'll help too.
