The main thing is what kind of curls you want to have.

There are these flexible rod things you snap into yor hair and leave in over night to have curls. It works great on short hair.

Depending on how thin your hair is you may want to use a thinner rod. Leave the curler on your hair for 7-10 seconds. Put a bobble in the top part and curl it in sections from the bottom to the top. Leave the ends straight.

If you are ok with using heat... You can curl your hair with a mini straightener! That's what I do and I have hair that falls a little past my chin. You can do several different sizes and techniques with this straightener. There are plenty of tutorials on YouTube!

I had a longish pixi which I'm growing out, and it's currently almost to my shoulders. (got my cut in September) I use a mini straightener or a spiral curling wand, and they both work very well. When I use the spiral wand I use the bottom half and focus on curling the middle of my hair. When I use the straightener I section my hair off and straighten each section, then while the hair is still warm curl it. It works so well! I also should point out I don't use heat very often. If I want my hair to curl without heat I use my aveda be curly curl enhancer and my Pantene pro-v style curls mousse after I shower and twist sections of hair between my fingers and let it Air dry. I have frizzy bangs so I keep them at bay by using my aveda men's pureformance grooming clay and pull them back with a few bobby pins. Men's hair care products work well because they're designed for shorter hair. Hope this helps! Sorry for the super long explanation!! 😝
