I have very acne prone skin and I'm interested in the Clarisonic, but I wanna hear from those of you who have acne as well and have tried it! Verdict?

Then I purchased the Clarisonic Mia for Christmas. The first 2-3 weeks my skin was absolutely disgusting. Just the worst ever. I was so ashamed of it. Then last week it started clearing up beautifully! I have mostly miliia (like the bumps babies get on their face. Due to dead skin cells clogging the pores and can get rid of through exfoliating) and a little bit of acne. The Clarisonic has helped my milia tremendously. I've have bad skin since I was 10 and this is the best it has looked. This is my 1 month journey pics. I have on bb cream in both pics.

I am pretty acne prone, but mine is mostly genetic unfortunately. I'm hoping I'll grow out of it, but recently I went to the dermatologist and got some prescription medications for it. But before all that I got a Mia 2 about a year ago. I still use it, but less frequently because of the medications. Anyway, for me it did help. It cut down on the amount of cystic pimples I got. I wouldn't get a lot of them to begin with but the ones I did get were very painful and stubborn and the Clarisonic definitely cut down on that. It helped me make mine a little more manageable, but it didn't cure it by any means. It may be different in your case though. It could also make it worse unfortunately. The only way to know is to try it, but I think in general its better for oilier skin types so you may have luck with it :)
