I have acne but lately I've been getting spots around my mouth,mainly at the sides and I was wondering if this was a normal part of acne or? thank you.

I get these too!! Usually happens to me when I use cheapie lip balms... Or if I've been drinking too much pop😩

It maybe her-peas (don't be scared there also known as "cold sores") if it's cracked it maybe dry irritated skin due to weather.

Most likely a cold sore. thats what mine are when they are right by my lip line. and they go away after awhile on there own or you can go get some stuff for cold sores.

I get those too, usually if I have eaten something spicy or salty. Could be something irritating the skin.
I doubt it is herpes if it is happening on both sides simultaneously. I've been getting cold sores for years and never had a flare up in two places at once. Not to mention you can usually tell the difference between herpes and acne.
