I've watched so many youtube videos of girls contouring and bronzing as well as using a blush. Is it necessary to do all three? I just like using blush.

I just like to lightly contour. I personally feel all three is a little too much.

Nothing is "necessary." If you like blush, wear blush :)

I just like the blush too & so I wear it alone everyday. But when I like yo look more made up I only contour & use blush not bronzer in my opinion that's a little bit too much, or if you're really pale..

The only makeup that's necessary is whatever you feel comfortable wearing :)

It's definitely not necessary to wear all 3. if you want to wear one, or the other, or only 2 of the 3 then go for it! if you want to wear just blush then do it (:

Actual Contour sculpting kits have a grey tone to help mimic shadowing Now as for the Bronzer That to me is all Youtube spread info GONE WRONG lol Bronzer is a product made for a tanning glow to the skin for all over it's Not really in the makeup must at all it's just if you want a Tanned finish so just X out that Bronze,You don't have to use that at all. Now has for Blush yes that even's out your look so it lifts the cheeks and add's color so you don't look washed out.You really Don't have to Contour either in fact Most don't Need it. This is something to use to help create features or shape of a face and Most don't realize if you already have it don't Contour because all you'll end-up doing is giving yourself a Manish stronge chiseled look.Just think if it's not your cup of Tea then you don't have to do it, Hope this make you more at ease Danielle :)

They are not necessary, it just depends on what you want for your face. If you want to look healthier blush is a great option and to look warmer and tanner bronzer is good. Contouring is for creating shadows and slimming out your face. But it's really I don't contour because I feel like sometimes it's too much. But it just depends on who you are. Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't. I hope that answers your question!

I love this post!
I recently just started bronzing and contouring together. I usually only contour. I watched a Youtube video and the artist bronzed then contoured. At first I was like "WTF?!" and then I did it on myself and I looooovvvved it. Alma is correct along the lines of contour colors. A lot of people use bronzer to contour, which is incorrect and easily looks like war paint stripes on the face. A contour is supposed to have a greyish tone to it.
A really good product for contour is MAC Pro Sculpt powder. You can only purchase it on the MAC website, and it just comes in the refill pan (not one of the black compacts.) Best part is it's only $15.
To bronze I use a dupe of Benefit's Hoola which is a bronzer by NYC that I buy for like three bucks at Target.
