What should I wear for my university info session? (it's tomorrow). I'm in Australia, and the weather is going to be 26?C and possible rain (80?F) which is much much cooler than our recent weather which has been around the 47?C mark (116?F).
Because of the recent drop in temperature, I have little to no ideas of what to wear, please help? Pictures would be appreciated!! :)

Is it class, or an info session, or a tour, or an interview...?
Jan 22, 2014
Jillian S.
It's an info session, where I get some help with piecing my new timetable together and confirming my electives and such.

I'd just wear a cute sundress and sandals or sneakers. Whatever you'd normally wear to school if you want to look nice. Nothing too fancy. No heels, no crop tops, no frayed denim shorts.

So just sort of a casual outfit? :)
Jan 22, 2014
Hannah K.
Yeah, that's what I'd do. To be honest I've shown up to my advisor's office in shorts and a t shirt, but if you'd like to look nicer than that just wear a cute casual dress :)

Are you from Adelaide? In Brisbane its only been reaching the low 30s which is crazy hot for me, so Idk how you're surviving in that weather!! Anyways these are just a few outfits on my Pinterest, and its totally okay to wear shorts at uni, just I'd advise against the cheek-showing torn shorts. Btw it's a good idea to take a backpack, just incase. I found that having my handbag wasn't enough.

Thanks! I'm in love with 1, 3 and 5!!
I'm from Bendigo, it's sort of in the centre of Victoria, and all last week it was in the mid 40's! Was sooooooo hot! Haha

Jillian I hear you loud and clear, I'm not looking forward to Thursday (38 degrees in melb) wear casual with comfy shoes. You may have to walk to different areas at uni and walk up stairs etc. Which uni you heading to?

I just finished at the uni, I ended up wearing a black high low shirt with some khaki green pants, (was a little too warm, but oh well) with some casual sandals, and Cass F, I did have to walk around and up stairs! Ha
I'm going to Latrobe uni, bendigo campus :D

What you studying? The weather today has been all over the shop, true Melbourne style! Raining, windy, muggy and humid. Relentless! :)

Wow! Must be very artistic. Keep in mind advertising as a path in the future. I'm not super creative and did marketing and I really wish I did advertising. Little more consult with companies and creative ways put across a msg :) I wish you so much luck! I'm sure you'll love it. Keep me posted though I'm super interested in seeing your talent :) x
