Hi beauties have any of you tried Kat Von D's lock it tattoo foundation? I'm thinking about buying it but its more than I would usually spend on a foundation. is it worth the money? does it really give full coverage? does it keep your skin matte all day? is it long lasting? opinions of this foundation would be great: )

It is FULL coverage, but can get cakey easily. It is also pretty thick and is not the easiest foundation to blend.

I haven't tried it personally, but I've seen girls on here say that it really can cover a tattoo. :) so pretty full coverage. I hope someone that had tried it can give you more info.

I haven't personally tried it but a lot of the girls on here love it. I would suggest either way going to sephora and getting a sample of it that way you can see for yourself if its the coverage your looking for and to see how it reacts with you're skin. that way youll know if it will break you out, keep you matte ect.

Yes is does have a great finishing coverage, But to me I hated it, bad foundation. when I first put on the foundation it was a REALLY heavy liquidy foundation, I had to keep blending it out, And the coverage came out great, Than later on the day I notice cracks on my face, My foundation looking extremely horrible, and I looked orangery. Worst day of MY life! But if you are really oily than I suggest it, not a great foundation for dry or combination skin.

Hello gorgeous I personally haven't tried it but there's a percentage that loves it and hate it I have seen so many YouTube guru's that love it but a few that hate it the covergirl is amazing for what they show a foundation tutorial longativity depends on what you do if your outdoors in humid weather it will vary covergirl 3in 1 foundation was recommended to me by a friend she said is a dupe I personally love it then revlon colorstay what you could do is buy a couple things at sephora or just ask for sample of the foundation :) I definitely would love to hear your thoughts

I really hated it. It was just so thick and impossible to blend I tried sponges brushes and my hands. It also looked quite fake and just not a good finish. I use it mainly for stage productions since it's so thick and high coverage. I mix the tiniest amount with a pump of moisturizer and it works as a tinted moisturizer. I will say you get lots of product

I have combination skin but in the winter very dry. I love this foundation, I have bad Rosacea and I only need a small amount for amazing coverage. Use with the setting spray and it looks flawless. I looked for years for a foundation and after 6 years of trying so many products this is my #1.

When I first got it I loved it.
the foundation, color match and texture are all amazing- but after a few hours it grabs at all your imperfections and wears off.. so it's a negative for me unfortunately..

I love this foundation! I have a lil hyper pigmentation on my cheeks & it definitely makes my skin tone even! I didn't find it difficult to apply I just used a brush...

It's probably my favorite foundation. My face is an oil slick and after a couple hours I do have to blot, but I've been like that with any foundation. I wouldn't say its transfer resistant, and it's definitely a foundation that you have to play with a little. When I first got it, I hated it. Just didn't work for me. Then I played around with application techniques and found out what worked for me, so if possible definitely get a sample. I only need to use half a pump for my whole face. If I use anything more it looks super cakey.

I absolutely love it! It goes on smooth. Dries matte. Heavy coverage. I wouldn't wear it everyday, but when I do, it lasts all day long. So worth it!

Meagan.. did you use any filters on the pic you posted? I'm interested as well but need to make sure its not cakey or dry looking when applied right of course. When I zoom the pic I see no pores in your skin, no fine hairs, nothing but one even color is why I'm asking. Thanks<3
