Oh no!! Well by the rest of your pics I can tell that you like using headbands, so definitely use those for the time being! Make sure you do lots of hot oil treatments, take vitamins, drink lots of water, and just be patient :) and most of all stay away from those kids!!

This isn't really a tip, but if I were you I would get the parents to pay for the hair-dressers and the cost of fixing it and I would never mind them again! I hope you feel better though x

Idk what to tell you about your hair since it was answered above but I would like to suggest parenting classes for the childrens parents! You are so nice to actually watch what you so kindly referred to a "troubled" kids!! Wow. I can't even imagine one of my kids acting like that. We don't spank our kids but I do believe I would have to get to whoopin my kid's hindend if they ever even thought of physically harming another person, let alone an adult!!
I'm really sorry this happened to you, hun. Stay away from those little undisciplined monsters!

Thanks girls. @amy am thanks girl, the mother actually laughed like really real laugh. She thought it was hilarious. :( but at my dispense :(. ik this is off topic but I watch her kiddos 100% free all week long and sometimes all night so she doesn't leave them home alone:( ahh its so frustrating. If I were not in college for teaching and if I didnt love kiddos so much :( sry I shouldn't have said that. I think I'm just really upset :(

She laughed?! that's awful! Karma, they'll get at her hair one day lol I wish your hair a swift recovery.

Never ever ever ever watch those damn kids again!! Wow I'm so sorry this happened to you:( but definitely try some extensions, you could probably even buy bang clip in's just to cover up the uneveness. You are not being a baby about this at all, that is ridiculous that she handled it that way. I would never watch them again because of her, she sounds like she is a terrible mother especially because you watch them so often w/o pay...
Wow people these days

No advice... just * hugs*

Sounds like that mom is not doing her job. Don't watch them and call cps if they are alone. She is taking advantage of you. That is a lot if hair gone!! I would just go full bangs if the extensions don't work out.

That's horrible, I would have probably whooped up on the mom. Mary is right, call cps, I can't believe they ripped it out. That had to hurt something awful. Can you make a police report on this. Seems like assault but again it's a child I assume, so not sure what they can do but I'd have the cops tall to the kid/s and scare them. I'd also be taking her to court and making her pay for your hair to be fixed. This is uncalled for.

Omg I am soooo sorry this happened to you. I'd be vary wary and extremely cautious of the mother and the children. this was beyond normal or exceptable by any standards. it speaks volumes about something going on in that home. just horrible. I hope all the advise from the other girls helps you

I'm so sorry. I think it's better if you don't put strain or pressure (braids) to the hair, so no sew-in instead get a nice wig. That way the hair will grow with no tension

All the suggestions on here are amazing, to be honest you mentioned you watch her kids for free...I'd have this lady pay for the price of whatever treatment you decide. If she thought it was so funny, she should pay for the consequences. Or just start charging her by the hour until its paid off (or for the rest of the time you watch her kids) because this wasn't your fault and you shouldn't have to pay out of pocket for that

Holly N.
Kids or not, that's assault and the mother should be paying for your hair extensions/appointment,I would take her to court she how much she laughs then!
You seem like a genuine, lovely lady and this woman is taking advantage of you and if you absolutely should not feel obliged to look after her children, that's her job as a mother and if she isn't doing that then those poor kids should be taken into care.
Feb 9, 2014
Holly N.
Also, if I was the mother I would be inconsolable from the embarrassment, I would pay for whatever you decided to do with your hair and my kids would be grounded probably for the rest of there lives! and I would absoloultey have been paying you to babysit in the first place.

Oh wow. that really sucks. I would, as the ladies have said, make that mother pay to have it fixed, and never watch her kids again. If she'seaving them at home alone, I would want to care for them as well, but not at personal expense. Something is wrong in that household.
