I've heard no. Definitely don't try to go lighter, it will turn green.

No! don't use any colour. it puts salts in your hair, when you put a colour on it will make your hair fizz up and disintrigate , I think you can only let it grow out but do some incompatibility tests just incase.

No! henna is one of the worst things you can use on your hair becauase normal hair color will not take properly over it.

Henna doesn't fade the same way that regular dye does, it leaves metallic salts deposited in the hair that will react with chemical dyes. It can't be stripped out easily either. You have to wait until it grows out.
If you do decide to try and dye it, see a professional and make sure you tell them that you used henna.

If you absolutely want to try, go to a professional and tell them you have henna in your hair and as them to do a test strand. DO NOT just do it at home, you will cry. Before I started doing hair, I did exactly that in high school and it was a disaster. I didn't go lighter, so my hair didn't turn green, however, I had a TON of chemical breakage and my hair looked absolutely terrible. You don't wanna mess with Henna. It's like a beta fish. It doesn't play well with anything other than Henna. and yes, even after 3 months, it's the kinda thing you must grow out completely. But like I said, if you absolutely must, go to a professional and have them do a test strand. But even that could possibly go wrong, I had a client once whose test strand went great, so we just did some foils on her part after that. The highlights near the test strand were beautiful, but once we got to the front, her highlights were a nice aqua color that I couldn't tone to a normal color. So be very very careful. Your best bet is to just grow it out.
