I've never had my own makeup from MAC but I've tried it many times and I think I want to buy a foundation and concealer. Any suggestions? I also was looking at the prep + prime and natural finishing powder. What do you think? And I have dry- normal skin and dont worry about cost. Thanks. (:

I wouldn't go with MAC as your first foundation. It can be very heavy for some. Their concealer is great though.

I like the studio tech. mainly because I like how you can have heavy or light cover depending in how you apply it. I like to wet the sponge provided so its a little damp.

Thanks everyone! Oh and this probably would've been helpful but its not my first foundation or concealer. Previously i've tried drugstore products and Sephora brand. (:

While I LOVE MAC's Pro Longwear foundation, I'm going to have to disagree with some of these replies. Pro Longwear is not the greatest for dry skin, & can accentuate any dry patches on the skin. It's great for oily skin, but I feel like it can be a bit TOO drying for you skin-type.
However, I've heard good things about Matchmaster SPF 15 foundation being a great fit for dry/normal skin=]

I wouldn't recommend Pro Long Wear foundation or concealer if you have dry skin. I have dry skin and get some occasional oiliness in my t-zone but my cheeks are the freaking sahara desert and the only foundations that I could get to work to somewhat work with my skin type were the studio tech and mineralize foundation. I really like the the Hourglass Veil Fluid Foundation or Nars Sheer Glow.

I use the studio fix concealer, Mineralize satinfinish foundation & the mineralized skin finish natural on top and I love & a lot of days I don't use the foundation, just the concealer and powder. It's amazing and looks natural.
