Bryanna - me too and I love purple eyeshadow on my brown eyes. I haven't experimented too much with blue. Maybe I should!!

If you have more yellow gold undertones purple would complement your eyes better. This isn't law it's just a guide line that helps me match eye shadow.

This is called color theory, it's applicable to most things :) for example, I can wear warm purple/pink lipstick and my eyes turn green.
