Headband curls question

How long do you leave headband curls in for? I know overnight usually, but will 5-6 hours be enough? I want to wear it under my hat at work then have beautiful curls after my shift :)

As long as your hair goes from wet to fully dry will do, if I'm in a rush I'll put the blow dryer on its lowest cool setting and give it a little push! But that should definitely work. I never use curling irons anymore!
