Went to MAC the other day to find my foundation colour match and was recommended NW13 (which is for cooler, more pink toned skin if I'm correct?)
Although the colour looked alright on me I don't think that the undertone was right as I have green veins, suit gold more than silver and have been told I have a warm undertone by a different shop assistant in a different place...
Should I get re-matched before buying a foundation?
Also could I get away with using a NC15 instead? Like, would a 15 be a lot darker than the 13? I'm very pale but I don't think MAC make a NC13...

My suggestions would be 1, go back and match yourself, by putting the foundations along your jaw and seeing which one "disappears." 2, ask for a sample and see what it looks like on, at home. They give free samples.

I didn't know they offered samples... I'll try that. Thanks!

I agree on getting a sample and try to look at it in natural light because any Mac counter I've gone to has horrible lighting where almost anything looks good (until I get in the car and realize how horrible it looks)

What Hannah said! and also check in different lighting (not just inside the store,go outside and see how it still looks) and yes you can get a sample!

The W range tend to be slightly deeper then the Cs when it comes to the numbering so a 15 won't be much darker just more yellow.

She probably figured since you're pale you have a pink undertone, that's usually the case :/

Girl of youre a VIB at sephora get the color iq. Its the best way to match your skin tone and to know your exact skin tone. The girl at the Mac counter told me I was NC30 which is wayyyy to dark for me because I have always been an NC20 and would be NC25 max when tanned.
