I say wear it! You'll stand out but in a good way. I don't really think there is a "too formal" for prom bc now days people wear $3,000 dresses. I have never worn a short poofy dress either. I think you should wear what you want and be happy (:

I don't care for the dress myself. You don't have to wear the poofy dresses either. An idea would be to look at one of your fav red carpet looks for this season and put your own spin on it. Send out a pic of whatever you decide to wear.

Personally not a fan of the dress. but prom is formal. you're supposed to wear long dresses lol. I wore a long kind of tight one to my friends prom. you don't need a poofy dress.

I think the dress is good enough to be worn for prom. With the right accessories and shoes you will look beautiful! I actually prefer longer dresses for prom. I think it's the only time you can really wear those

It looks good on you! At my school junior prom we wore short dresses and senior we wore the long gowns. Regardless prom is a formal event so the dress is appropriate
Just wear what makes you feel beautiful! In the end it's your prom night no one else's.
