My skin is usually really oily and I tend to favor oil-free matte foundations. All of my current foundations are matte. However, during winter, my skin gets really dry.
What is good foundation that provides moisture without grease for this time of year?

I'm looking for something with a satin finish. Nothing too shiny and nothing too matte.

In that case, you should check out the Naked Foundation by Urban Decay.

I really favor MUFE HD foundation. A little goes a long way and it looks amazing even outside. For my oily skin I use a kabuki brush with my Rimmel Stay Matte translucent powder. :)

Do you moisturize your skin? I noticed with my skin, adding an oil free moisturizer to my skin care routine actually helped my oily skin. I also use makeup forever velvet Matt foundation and it works really well.

I do moisturize but my oil-free ones dry out my skin during winter.

If you're looking drug store I suggest maybelline dream matte mousse great coverage that you can build and last all day great shades as well .
Lancôme Tient idole is good as well because its very light and with a good pressed powder is great for oily skin . They have soooo many shades as well .

Funnily enough I have combination skin that can swing into either extreme (dry or really oily) and I wanted something more moisturising and took a chance on l'oreal's lumi Magique foundation and it's been fantastic, mositurising without making my skin oily at all and also has a really nice satin finish.

Laura Mercier Silk Creme foundation is phenomenal.. I've tried so many foundations from Revlon Colorstay to MUFE HD and they just don't compare.

You might want to consider the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer. There are a few different ones. I've been using the oil free one with SPF 20. It took a few samples from Sephora to find my perfect match; which is actually a combo of 2 shades but I find its easy to adjust the tone of you have some powers. I swear by Ben Nye powders.
