Does anyone have good natural remedies for hair, skin or health? I currently use coconut oil, honey and apple cider vinegar as beauty products. Any other good ones I should know of? Thanks :)

And my DIY remedy for having such strong nails ♥
Get any clear nail polish, it can be any cheap clear top coat, or you can get a strengthening type. As long as it's one you are willing to use. I went with the strengthening type since I already have it at hand.
Dice up the garlic into really small bits, you want it to be able to fit into the nail polish bottle. I find that it helps to push it in with the nail polish brush
Close it tight, let it sit for 7-10 days.
Everyday, apply a coat of nail polish. You can start off with a double coat
After a week, remove the nail polish and start all over. You can also use it as a base coat underneath your nails if you decide to paint them.
Another way to incorporate Garlic in your nails is to rub it in.

For an even skin tone... ( Get rid of/ soothe redness, and help calm down pimples, moisturize and pull oils from skin... )
Oatmeal..
For a mask/exfoliant ( Can be used daily ) * This is messy
Grab a handful of oatmeal, it can be any kind. It can be instant oats or whatever you have readily available.
Throw some in the blender and grind it. Why should you do this? I found that using oatmeal without grinding it is a bit abrasive. The reason being is that I exfoliate using oatmeal, which I will explain in further steps how it's done.
In a container or bowl, using about a tbsp or more ( to the eye ) of raw organic honey ( it can be regular but you will reap more benefits with organic honey ) mix the two together.
Apply the paste to your face.
After 15-20 minutes or once the oatmeal hardens, in a GENTLE circular motion, massage your skin as this will make the oatmeal fall off AND exfoliate. If you do not wish to exfoliate simple run water on your face ( in the shower of course. )
As a cleanser
Grab a handful of oatmeal, it can be any kind. It can be instant oats or whatever you have readily available.
Throw some in the blender and grind it. Why should you do this? I found that using oatmeal without grinding it is a bit abrasive. The reason being is that I exfoliate using oatmeal, which I will explain in further steps how it's done.
Put in a container that you will hold your oatmeal in
Place some in your hand, closing your fist ( not too tightly ) as to moisten the grinded oats.
In gentle circular motions, massage your skin gently using the oats. ( A good idea is to do this as soon as you shower. I like to leave it on and when I am done showering I will then wash it off so that it's kind of like a mini mask. )
In a gentle circular motion, remove the oatmeal. Or simply let the running water remove it from your face as to not exfoliate.
- You can also replace the honey with aloe vera!!

For a cheap hair mask just put some olive oil on the mid-lengths of your hair for a quick revitalisation ;)

I don't know if you'd be interested but I just found this.. you mix lemon juice and baking soda to make a paste and brush your teeth with it for whiter teeth :D

Kitty K. gave some awesome advice. and I was going to add that baking soda and lemon juice may increase whiteness over time, but it will eat away your enamel. Which is something that you will not be able to get back. So I do not recommend that diy teeth whitener.

I loved to use this recipe:
Shampoo:
* 1 cup water
*1 tbs baking soda
Conditioner:
1-2 cups water, depending on hair length
1-2 teaspoons olive oil
2 tbs apple cider vinegar.
a few drops of an essential oil
It sounds weird, but it works so well! I could go 2 weeks without washing my hair and it never looked greasy, not even with frequent sweating during exercise. I only stopped doing this because it couldn't completely get rid of the hair gel and hairspray I was using during show season. Now I use the shampoo recipe with 1 tbs ACV for a clarifying rinse once a week.
