I do the same things you do lol I used to have tons of creativity when it came to my nails, and lately I just draw a blank every time I try to think up a design. I also have an old notebook where I used to draw nail designs! Lol now I pretty much just google search and recreate :)

You can get from pretty much anywhere! Just look around the room and find something that catches your eyes. Even from television! But I look here on beautylish or on google.

I get inspiration from pretty much everywhere, Pinterest, beautylish, YouTube, celebrities, etc. but to be perfectly honest with you, I get it from just mediating. I spend a lot of my time in silence just thinking. Planning out my looks meticulously, from hair to nails.

You know what I thought was funny?
All the styles and ideas that are out now - are old news to graphic artists.
There have been so many times where people have told me 'this is in style now!'
and I'm like... 'I even drew this before a year ago... what are you talking about?'.
But I think it's because a lot of our style comes from other countries. One of my old police advisors got promoted to work at the airport. And he says all the things that are in now have already been worn by foreigners months ago. And that it's cool because he gets to see what's going to be in style before it actually is in style. So I think since a a lot of the graphic artists that inspire me are from other countries, so it becomes normal.

Lookbooks (whether they be physical lookbooks or videos/online), online catalogs, tumblr, magazines, looking at what other people wear is a big one! Take a walk downtown and really observe different styles. Explore clothing stores you wouldn't normally go into. Some mannequins have different styles that I've never seen, and that's awesome.
