Make sure you eat, exercise regularly and get good sleep. Do a treatment once a month to make it very shiny and smooth. I use head and shoulders daily use shampoo and conditioner. I also use argon oil. Because I have thick hydrated but itchy hair I used head and shoulders to balance it :)

The most valuable tip I have ever gotten that truly works is, after you shampoo in the shower, blot your hair with a hand towel, then apply conditioner. Wrap hair with a hair claw or shower cap. Then wash your body etc. lastly, rinse your hair. This gives the conditioner a chance to really penetrate hair shaft. The heat from the shower is a major plus. You'll notice a difference in the condition of your hair after a few weeks.

Do what Stephanie said but rinse it with cold water so the how water doesn't dry out your hair and suck up all the moisture!

I've been doing this for a few montha and have noticed less frizz in my hair. I use a t-shirt to wrap my hair in and dry after the shower. I use my normal shampoo and conditioner (dove) and also a leave in conditioner cream. By Cantu, I believe. Every few weeks I put it in my hair and leave it for a long time before I shower. This stuff helps my hair grow so much, too!

Try to avoid washing your hair everyday if you can! Unfortunately for me my hair gets oily really quickly so if I'm out of the house everyday I can't really do this but if you're lucky enough to be able to go without washing everyday then don't!
